I play on Bodog from Playa Del Carmen for the last 2 years. Surely, I am not the only American playing poker on from Mexico. If this issue persists I will make a thread for it to bring more light to the situation. Does bodog have a rep here? Or does anyone know of a phone number I can call to reach them?
It just seems odd they never cared before when I was cashing out 2-3k. Now they are making me jump through hoops just to get my account verified.
Has anyone dealt with problems getting verified on ? I have been playing on bodog/ignition for over 15 years without any issue what so ever. I dont have a Mexico ID as they clearly can see I am an American living here. They then emailed me back saying that I need to provide a Mexico Id and selfie of me holding the Mexico ID. So I then sent in copies of my utility bill and a selfie of me holding my utility bill (which also has my landline mexico phone number on it that they can call me at anytime). After this email, they asked for proof of address.
I sent in my passport and a selfie of me holding my passport which is what they ask for originally. Recently I went to make a larger than normal withdrawal (around 10k) and I got an email from the security department telling me I need to verify my identity. I have deposited and cashed out many times without any issue. I am an American living in Mexico and playing poker on.
